Tudor House Bathroom

The most recent renovation in the Tudor House Project. As always it has been an honour and a pleasure to work with the home, and the family, although this room did set out to try us! Originally two rooms, built at different times – possibly Victorian, possibly older in structure, we sought to combine them into one larger space. We had to strip the rooms down to their bare bones to alter the pipework, a feat in itself, and then add back the character of this house.

We installed nickel brassware from Fired Earth & Perrin&Rowe, and Carrara marble tiles in the shower area. Complemented with patterned tiles, to create a classic scheme with a hint of character. A gorgeous free-standing bath from Fired Earth, and a vanity unit from Neptune, both painted a soft, mauve grey, add classic structure. Finished with antiques from Chris Holmes, and Anton & K, ensuring that this room is both past informed, and future proof.
