We were invited to view this project on a cold, dark November evening, and it was a dark, cold house that greeted us. The house needed a complete over-haul, and was in essence starting from scratch. No building work required, but when we discovered the original chimney was not fit for purpose, we chose to build another on a different wall, and gave the sitting room some real personality. We replaced the existing kitchen, changed all the doors, and then gave the house a lift with light, warm neutrals, and our trade mark textures, to give it life.
